COMPANY
Associations and partenerships
|
Since Jean-Denis and Guy's father, Doctor Lucien Boulet, created the company in 1951, the management philosophy have always been the same: the force of association
and partnership. Two key words which explain that Quebec Muliplants and Pelouses Richer Boulet has known an
annual progression of 15%. This augmentation is not the fruit of chance. It rest on the partnerships with qualified people and implication with professionals
associations.

Here are some important events that come to corroborate the teamwork which make the industry evolve :
- In 1960, the doctor Boulet founded the association of the landscape designers and nursery gardeners of the Quebec east, and this, with the collaboration of many
professionals of the Quebec area.
- In 1968, he is elected President-founder of Quebec's grass producers.
Since then, Jean-Denis and Guy Boulet, keep being involved in organism dedicated to the development of the horticulture industry. Let's mention their participation to
the direction of organisms like Paysage Québec, the association of grass producers, the FIHOQ and AQPP.
The Boulet family has always known to associate qualified people to manage different departments :
- Nursery/production
- Garden-center
- Grass maintenance
- Landscape structure
It is in this context that the Garden-Center Boulet has regrouped three other seedbeds from the Quebec area in 1983 to form the Quebec Mulitiplants company.
It has been the same when setting up new divisions :
- In 1992, we have joined Raymond Lamoureux from Hortisem which is specialized in the importation and marketing of grass seeds dedicated to the production
and to the revegetalisation of fields by hydro sowing.
- In 1998, it is now Alain Raymond's turn from Groupe Vert to join the team. This division assumes the distribution of pesticides, fertilizers, gardening accesories
stores and golf club's.
- In 2000, Boulet's brothers associate to Alain Baril and Normand Lareault from Pro-Mark 2000, a company specialized in the production and sale of small fruits plants.
